The Housing Market Bust.

This just applies to me, not our whole office. Look over me here, but it would seem that we have had our share of people lately coming in, other offices have as well, of people quoting us the Television News* stories or perhaps newspaper and magazines. Please, inform yourself properly, it does not take that much time and energy. I have to say, it is amusing to hear people come into the office and say they know the bubble has burst. It has slowed down in 10 states, and busted in areas in 40 more. We are one of the 10 states doing well.

It takes a whole lot less energy in term of time, money, motel rent, and money to properly research information at home, that to drive and do all this, only to get your bubble busted. Walking in and stating sound bites only makes you look stupid. Stating what you think the market should be makes you look even dumber. I know no more of your market than you do ours, actually, I probably would because I would do complete research first, before the journey. Running from office to office really makes you an undesirable client, we all use the same system with each other's listings, i.e.: all listings are the same. Now your not going to look smart in multiple locations that usually converse, since we sell the same listings. You might attract some hungry agents, but is that what you really want? Most decent agents will not work with you, especially if you do not have the time to look up listings. While we're at it, those that run in an office and think we should jump, ain't happening. If you don't have the time to look, why stop?
* Television - Amusement. If adding the letter "A" denotes the opposite, to MUSE is to think, AMUSE is to not think.
